Imagine if every person in our church spent just two minutes a day praying faithfully for two people who don’t yet know Jesus. Imagine what God might do. That’s where 2x2x5 prayer comes in. It’s a simple, repeatable habit of missional prayer:
- 2 people
- 2 minutes
- 5 days a week
Two minutes is short enough that anyone can do it, but long enough to pray intentionally. It’s an intentional habit that keeps two people before God day after day and keeps us attentive to the opportunities he may open and to join God in what he’s already doing in their lives.
As you pray, you may find opportunities to invite people into what’s happening at church:
- Life course in July and August.
- Our Mission Series, where we’ll see God’s heart for Australia and the nations.
- Our Big Question conversations: “What would you ask Jesus over a coffee?”
- Or simply invite them along to church on a Sunday.
What You Can Do
Choose your two people. Write their names somewhere you’ll see them every day. Set a two-minute timer. Then simply ask God to work. None of us can change a heart. But we can faithfully bring two names before the God who can.
We’ll do this together from July 27 to August 30.
That’s just 50 minutes of prayer over five weeks. Less than an hour to consistently place two people before the Lord.
